Built to be delivered totally online or in a blended learning environment, the Get Ready for A & P online learning course is the first step in preparing students for the rigors of studying anatomy and physiology in a traditional two-semester course. Student will learn anatomical terminology, basic chemistry, cell biology, and other basics of the human body--and they're drilled on math skills through practical examples and problems directly related to A&P health careers helping them put it all in context

The Get Ready for A&P course contains 10 lessons

The math lesson includes examples and problems that are directly related to A&P and health careers so students readily see the application of math to their future needs.

The chemistry lesson includes an introduction to pH

Because students often find the cell material to be the most challenging, these topic areas have been divided into separate lessons:

	It's alive! Introduction to Cells
	*Now you see it, now you don't: Movement Processes*
	Time to Split: Cell Reproduction

An introduction to meiosis has been added in the final lesson

In addition, this course will help students develop better study skills with interactive modules focusing on personal accountability, organization, time management, test preparation/test taking, and more. (All of those things instructors feel students should already know how to do, but clearly do not.).
